As Executive and Governing Board of the Alliance for Vulnerable Mission, we wish to express our bafflement and our great concern regarding the criminal investigations against Dr James O. ‘Jim’ Harries. These are currently being undertaken against him in his long-time host country Kenya on the initiative of the UK and concern alleged violations of safeguarding standards towards children living in his home in Siaya/Kenya.
